Centre Catalysts: Spotlighting our iAero Community -Techosaurus

The Centre’s Catalysts series shines a light on the diverse organisations, from tenants and innovators to collaborators and members, who fuel our ecosystem here at iAero.

We explore the unique capabilities and expertise they bring, demonstrating the collective power that makes our Centre a hub of opportunity and growth. Their success is our success, and their contributions are the reason to join our vibrant community and support the growth of the aerospace, advanced manufacturing and engineering sectors in Somerset.

First in the series is Techosaurus.

Techosaurus is a multi-award-winning, founder-led EdTech and consultancy based in Yeovil, Somerset, specialising in practical AI and automation for real workplaces.

Founded in 2023 by Ellie and Scott Quilter, Techosaurus focusses on helping people use modern tools with confidence, not fear, and turning AI from a buzzword into something useful and practical.

From the team’s base in Somerset, Techosaurus:

  • Design and deliver the UK Government-backed Generative AI Skills Bootcamp as a delivery partner for Yeovil College. It is through this partnership that Techosaurus provides Skills Bootcamps for learners across sectors such as engineering, manufacturing, healthcare, education, professional services, and the creative industries.
  • Provide specialist CPD and programmes for educators and colleges. These are focussed on integrating AI into teaching, assessment, and administration in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way.
  • Work with businesses, MSPs, and self-employed professionals to design AI-supported processes, content workflows, and customer journeys that fit their size, capacity, and sector.
  • Offer online courses and on-demand learning, giving people flexible ways to build skills around work and family commitments.

Upskill at Bootcamp

New cohorts of the Generative AI Skills Bootcamp are planned to continue throughout 2026. There will also be a host of new in-person AI and automation courses that will run throughout the year. For further details, please see www.techosaurus.co.uk

Co-Founder and Chief AI and Innovation Officer, Scott Quilter, said:

“Techosaurus has a full pipeline of activity planned for the year ahead, with strong demand already in Q1. The team is launching a new Automation Skills Bootcamp in 2026, helping people move from using AI to building automated workflows and solutions that save time and reduce friction.”

Techosaurus and iAero

For Techosaurus, iAero provides a modern, future-facing environment that fits naturally with AI, engineering, and innovation. Through a physical connection into the aerospace, engineering and advanced manufacturing community, the Centre helps bridge the gap between traditional industry and emerging digital skills.

Ellie Quilter, Co-Founder & COO, of Techosaurus, commented:

“The iAero Centre in Yeovil is the operational home for much of Techosaurus’ teaching and development work in Somerset. By being embedded at iAero, Techosaurus is able to deliver high-impact training locally while also contributing to the Centre’s role as a hub of innovation for the region.”
